1. About The Planet Clicker
Some websites exist to sell you something. This one exists because idle games deserve a proper home on the web.
The Planet Clicker is a fan-dedicated site built around one of the most satisfying browser games in the incremental genre — Planet Clicker, originally created by Coltroc on the Scratch platform. Our goal is simple: give players a clean, fast, no-nonsense place to play, learn, and get better at the game.
No ads shoved in your face. No paywalls. No pop-ups asking you to subscribe before you’ve even seen the game. Just the game, and the information that makes it more enjoyable.
2. Why We Built This Site
Idle games have a reputation problem. People dismiss them as mindless — “you’re just clicking a button” — and move on. But anyone who has spent time with a well-designed incremental game knows there’s more going on beneath the surface. Resource management, upgrade prioritization, timing automation correctly — these are real decisions that affect how fast you progress.
Planet Clicker is a good game that deserved better than a buried Scratch embed and a few scattered Reddit comments. We wanted to build something that treated it like the game it actually is: with proper guides, clear explanations, and a site that loads fast and works on any device.
That’s what this is.
3. What You’ll Find Here
The Game Itself
Planet Clicker is embedded directly on the homepage. Open the site, click play, and you’re in — no account, no download, no setup of any kind.
Guides and Strategy Content
We cover the game properly. From getting started on Earth to pushing through to Venus, our guides are written for players who want to progress efficiently, not just eventually. If you’re stuck, there’s a good chance we’ve covered it.
Honest, Useful Information
We write about what actually works in the game — not padded-out content designed to hit a word count. If something isn’t useful to a player, it doesn’t go on the page.
4. Our Approach to Content
Everything published on The Planet Clicker is written by people who have actually played the game. We don’t generate filler. We don’t copy-paste patch notes and call it a guide.
When we cover a strategy, it’s because we’ve tested it. When we say a particular upgrade is worth prioritizing early, it’s because the numbers back it up. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to, and it’s the reason we’d rather publish one solid guide than five mediocre ones.
We also keep the site updated. The game evolves, and our content should reflect that.
5. A Note on the Game’s Origins
Planet Clicker was built by Coltroc on the Scratch platform and is shared under Creative Commons licensing. We want to be clear about that: we didn’t make the game. We’re fans of it, and this site exists to support and amplify what Coltroc created — not to take credit for it.
If you’re a developer or creator and want to discuss anything related to the game or this site, the contact page is always open.
6. Get in Touch
We’re a small operation, which means feedback actually reaches real people. If something on the site is wrong, outdated, or could be clearer — tell us. If you’ve found a strategy that works better than what we’ve published — tell us that too.
We’d genuinely rather know.
