1. Disclaimer – The Planet Clicker
Transparency matters to us. This page explains the boundaries of what The Planet Clicker is, what we’re responsible for, and what we’re not.
It’s not a long read — but it’s worth knowing before you rely on anything published here.
2. Who We Are and What This Site Is
The Planet Clicker is an independent fan site built around the browser game Planet Clicker, originally created by Coltroc on the Scratch platform. We are not a game studio, not a software company, and not affiliated with Scratch, MIT, or the game’s original developer in any official capacity.
Everything on this site — guides, tips, strategy content, and general information — is produced independently, based on our own experience playing the game.
3. Accuracy of Information
We do our best to keep content accurate and up to date. That said, Planet Clicker is a living game. Mechanics shift, upgrades change, and what worked last month might not be the most efficient approach today.
If you spot something outdated or incorrect, the right move is to let us know via the Contact page. We’d rather fix it than leave wrong information sitting on the page.
We make no guarantees that every detail published here reflects the current state of the game at the exact moment you’re reading it.
4. The Game Itself
Planet Clicker is embedded on this site for convenience. The game was built by Coltroc and is distributed under Creative Commons licensing via the Scratch platform.
A few things worth being clear about:
- We did not create, modify, or alter the game in any way
- Game performance, bugs, and loading issues are tied to the Scratch platform — outside our control
- If the game breaks or behaves unexpectedly, the issue almost certainly originates on Scratch’s end, not ours
For platform-level issues, Scratch’s own support channels are the right place to go: scratch.mit.edu
5. External Links
Some pages on this site link to external websites — including Scratch, browser tools, or other resources we consider useful. Once you leave theplanetclicker.net, we have no control over what you encounter.
We don’t endorse every site we link to. Links are included because they’re relevant, not because we’ve vetted every page on a third-party domain. Use your own judgment when visiting external sites.
6. No Professional Advice
Nothing on The Planet Clicker should be taken as professional, legal, technical, or financial advice of any kind. This is a gaming fan site. The content here is written to help people play an idle game more effectively — nothing more, nothing less.
7. Affiliate Links and Advertising
At the time of writing, The Planet Clicker does not run display advertising or use affiliate links. If that changes in the future, it will be disclosed clearly on the relevant pages. We won’t hide commercial relationships in the content.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Planet Clicker and its operators are not liable for:
- Any loss of game progress (the game does not save between sessions by design)
- Technical issues on your device resulting from visiting the site
- Decisions made based on strategy or gameplay information published here
- Any issues arising from third-party platforms or services referenced on this site
The service is free. The content is provided in good faith. Use it accordingly.
9. Changes to This Disclaimer
We may update this page when circumstances change — if we add advertising, change how the game is embedded, or update how the site operates. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
10. Questions
If something here is unclear or you have a specific concern, the Contact page is the best place to start. We’re reachable and responsive.
